We will begin our process with a detailed discussion about your project and ultimate image goals. Once we have a good idea of what you are looking for, we will use the specific information you have provided to virtually build a 3D model of your project's building structures. If your final Station Point image is a single digital still, we like to explain that your 3D model is virtually constructed like an Old West storefront or a stage flat - meaning we will build only what is being seen from the viewpoint or angle you have picked. This is still done in a 3 dimensional format and your final image will appear as such. When your project calls for more than one perspective or when you are receiving a Station Point animation of your project, then we will build an entire 3D model with 4 walls that can be viewed from any angle. After your project has been virtually built, we then go in and layer specific textures and details to "flesh out" your image. This is the point that we add in your colors, material textures, lighting, reflections, landscapes and people and cars (if your project requires them). This is the point in the process that your image truly starts to come to life. We will then show you a preview of your image and take notes on minor changes that need to be made. We will then make these adjustments and turn the image back over to you for final approval. |
